Shake & spray on the surfaces whenever needed. For training purposes, spray on the targeted surface 3-4 times a day initially, till the cat has developed their natural instincts to avoid it. Once trained, reduce the spraying gradually. DO NOT SPRAY DIRECTLY ON CATS.
