Everything you need to know about our premium packaging standards, shipping policies, and product guides.
Our rimless ultra-clear glass tanks are packed using enterprise-grade multi-layer protection. We suspend the tank inside a custom-cut high-density polyethylene foam cradle, encase it in double-walled corrugated shipping boxes, and label all shipments as 'Fragile - Glassware' with shock-watch indicator labels. Larger tanks (above 60cm) are shipped via specialized freight partners on wooden pallets to prevent shifting during transit.
We guarantee that all live tissue culture cups, potted stem plants, and mosses will arrive in healthy condition. If your plants arrive damaged or melted due to transit delays, simply take a clear photograph of the unopened plastic cups/pots within 4 hours of delivery and email us or reach out on WhatsApp. We will issue a replacement or store credit immediately.
Absolutely not. To eliminate any impact risk, heavy stones (such as Seiryu, Dragon, or Lava Rock) and bulk driftwood pieces are packaged in independent, reinforced cardboard boxes with heavy bubble wrap. They are shipped as a separate package under a multi-consignment layout, ensuring they never come into contact with delicate glass items.
All Hobby Enclave orders are dispatched from our state-of-the-art facility in South Dumdum, Kolkata. Standard orders are processed within 24 to 48 hours. Depending on your location and selected courier partner, delivery typically takes 2 to 4 business days for major metropolitan areas and 5 to 7 days for regional districts across India.
Yes! We understand that every aquascape layout is unique. When you order substrates, stones, or driftwood, you can specify your layout goals in the order notes (e.g., 'Looking for a main Iwagumi focal stone' or 'Need branchy driftwood for a Ryuboku setup'). Our design curators will hand-select pieces from our catalog to match your request.
No, active aquarium soils (like ADA Amazonia Ver. 2 or Tropica Soil) should never be washed before use. Washing them breaks down their nutrient-rich granules into mud. Simply pour them dry into your tank, complete your hardscape layout, and cover the soil with plastic wrapping before filling water slowly to avoid disturbing the substrate bed.
